When you sign in using Google OAuth 2.0, we may receive:
- Basic Google account information (such as email address)
- Authorization to upload videos to your YouTube channel
- OAuth access tokens required to perform upload operations
We do not collect or store your Google password.
2. How We Use Information
Information is used solely to:
- Authenticate users
- Upload videos to the user's YouTube channel
- Maintain session continuity during large upload queues
- Improve application stability and functionality
We do not sell, rent, or share user data with third parties.
3. Google User Data Usage
- UploadlyApp requests and uses Google user data only for the user-requested upload workflow to the user's own YouTube channel.
- We request only the minimum required YouTube scope for uploads: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.upload
- We do not use Google user data for advertising, profiling, or any unrelated purpose.
- UploadlyApp's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
4. Data Storage and Handling
- Video files are uploaded directly from the user's browser to YouTube.
- UploadlyApp does not store user video content on its servers.
- Access tokens are short-lived and kept only in secure session storage in the user's browser during active use.
- Refresh tokens are stored in encrypted, HTTP-only cookies and encrypted server-side token records solely to maintain login sessions.
- OAuth tokens are handled securely and used only for actions explicitly requested by the user.
5. Data Protection and Security
- We use HTTPS encryption to protect data in transit between the user, UploadlyApp, and Google services.

- We do not sell, share, or transfer user data to third parties.
- We do not store uploaded video files on our servers. Video files are transferred directly from the user's browser to YouTube.
- Users can revoke Google access at any time from their Google Account permissions page.
6. Third-Party Services
UploadlyApp uses:
- Google OAuth 2.0
- YouTube Data API v3
These services are governed by Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
7. Data Deletion and Access Revocation
Users may:
- Revoke Google access at any time via Google Account security settings.
- Clear locally stored browser data.
- Contact support to request deletion of stored account-related metadata.
